Are we there yet???

(March – April) No, I didn’t become desperate for my belly to stop growing—I just wanted the summer in Rio to be of the kinder, milder variety. The heat continued almost non-stop until late April. Being holed up in a closed, air-conditioned room for days on end was not my idea of how to spend the last months of preparing for Alex’s grand debut. But we all survived and even had some fun along the way…

And to answer a common question—no, we’re not going to travel anymore. Alex has been to Angola, the Democratic Republic of Congo, South Africa, Cameroon, Portugal, France, Belgium, Switzerland, the U.S., and Brazil. It’s time for the little guy (and his parents!) to rest.
