This was our first Christmas in Charlottesville. We had a fun evening at home on Christmas Eve with friends and then Alex and I traveled to Kansas City to visit the Thompson/Goettsch family on Christmas Day. Alex got a ton of cool toys, as well as a real fish that he named Mame. We even had great sledding snow in the Midwest. Alex wasn't thrilled and when I asked him if it was because he's Brazilian, he said "yeah".
