We began the day with a trip to St-Cergue's desalpe, a traditional fall festival to bring the dairy cows down from the high summer grazing pastures. It consists of lots of men in lederhosen and cows with flowers on their heads and bells around their necks.
There were all sorts of interesting sites, including an antique tractor parade, men swinging cow bells, and an interesting strap-on-the-bum chair.
After Swedish meatballs and hot dogs at IKEA, we went to the British Classic Car Show in Morges. You don't have to be a car aficionado to appreciate these beautiful cars in the beautiful setting along the lake.
