We went on a train journey today with our amazing Swiss train passes. Left early in the morning from the Gare Cornavin in Geneva, baguettes and good spirits in hand.
First stop: Neuchatel in the "Watch Valley" of Switzerland. Second stop: Berne, the country's capital. The city was supposedly in a "lock-down" because the President of Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, was arriving, but we still had a nice stroll in the old town.
Third stop: The lovely lovely town of Thun with its amazing castle on a hill. And finally, a train ride to Brig where we waited for the Cisalpino coming from Italy to take us back to Geneva.
