In addition to having Jared and Michelle (Alex's old babysitter from Charlottesville) visit this weekend, we welcomed Alex's new babysitter, Michelle, to Ferney. Alex was a little confused by the two Michelles, but quickly figured out that one was going back to Lisbon and the other was going to stay around for awhile. On Saturday we visited Gruyeres and found a great place for sledding above Montreux in les Avants. A mountain road is closed to traffic and isn't plowed and you can take a funicular up and sled all the wall down. Brilliant idea!
On Sunday we went to Annecy to stroll around town and feed the birds at the lake.
