We had the good fortune of receiving a second summer visit from our Basque friends Maite, Ramon and Aiala. It was a perfect excuse to take advantage of some summer tourist activities, including Gruyeres, Annecy, Montreux, Bern, and Fribourg.
And we finally discovered why Alex has been so tired for the past two weeks--he had pneumonia and we ended up in the hospital in Geneva for a couple of days. (He made a speedy full recovery.)
