There will be no pictures of Alex in this blog post because, well, Alex didn't get to come to Paris...We had a nice short trip (with only minimal work phone calls about Pakistan floods). Paris still feels like it did 25 years ago, but back then they didn't have Amore ice cream. It was our favorite discovery of the trip, followed closely by a local market with a Moroccan food stand, free bikes, the Parc de Monceau, a picnic with Lebanese food along the Seine, the fancy food section at Galeries Lafayettes, the restaurant at the Quai Branley museum, shopping in the Marais, and the Louvre at night.
