Alex is a really lucky kid. After 3 months of doting Brazilian parents, he got a visit from his American grandparents and everyone overlapped in our tiny apartment for 2 days (a repeat of our 2008 grandparents x 4 visit). Although it was sad to say goodbye to Vovo Ana and Georges, Alex got a full week with Grandma and Papa as compensation. Grandma was great with painting and paper mache and the weather cooperated for a Halloween celebration and ziplining at Signal de Bougy and (another) lovely outing to Annecy in all its fall glory.
