It's nice to live near a big city with lots of fun places to discover. This weekend we went back to our favorite UN "agua chao" (water floor), in other words, the water fountains in front of the UN. I'm a wimp and can't stand the sun or heat, so I went upstairs to work to snap a few shots of the plaza from my colleague's office. It was fun to watch from afar while Alex ran around and cooled off.
We also went to a jazz festival right near the downtown train station. Once again, the main goal was to find a cool spot in the shade. Alex confidently picked Spiderman as the theme for his face painting, but he wasn't so sure about it afterwards.
