It seems that the annoying Christmas-begins-after-Halloween habit reached France and Switzerland. I simply refused to join in until this weekend when we went to the Christmas market in Montreux. I'm sure it was a lovely market--the hoardes of tourists prevented us from seeing much. Ended up mostly playing in the park and walking on the lake-side promenade. But at least we took a fantastic ride in the Grande Rue (ferris wheel) with Ina and had spectacular views of the lake and snow-capped mountains.
