Alex has been adjusting to our new schedules. He goes out every morning with Vovo Ana and George (his grandparents) to the park in town (a 15-minute walk). Seems like they're meeting lots of people and learning a bit of French.
They come home, eat, nap, and go back to the park or for a long walk. We live in a bedroom community a few kilometres from the Swiss border. We're no more than a mile from the Geneva airport and we have the big treat of watching planes take off and land all day long. Two blocks away is a big corn field. It goes right up to the fence around the playground at Alex's future school.
There's also a playground just outside our building (to the right). If Alex were a bit older, I'd be able to just throw him over the balcony (don't worry, we're on the ground level) to go hang out with his friends.
